AJ Ayers, CFP®, is the CEO and co-founder of Brooklyn Fi, a national wealth management firm specializing in equity compensation, tax strategy, and investment management for tech professionals, founders, and creatives. She is a CFP®, an Enrolled Agent, and a Certified Equity Professional, and she has guided hundreds of clients through IPOs, acquisitions, tender offers, and other major liquidity events.
A former journalist and book editor who once wrote record reviews for Bandcamp, AJ got hooked on money after navigating her own stock options, then turned a podcast about explaining money into a firm. In 2026, she was named to Financial Advisor magazine's Young Advisors to Watch. Her first book, Creative Money, publishes with Penguin Random House in fall 2026.
