The Liquidity Event

This cocktail is best enjoyed at the close of trading on the day your company goes public.

Ingredients

2 oz. Four Roses Small Batch bourbon (or similar spirit)

1 oz. fresh Gala or Honeycrisp apple cider (okay, any apple cider will do, but NOT juice)

1 oz. seltzer (a heavy handed splash)

Directions

Pour bourbon and apple cider over one square cube of ice in a pretty vintage tumbler and stir gently for five seconds. Add the splash of seltzer on top.

Sip slowly, read a few pages of your favorite novel, and then go to bed content.
