Tax Planning Season Is Here.
Check-in on what's happened this year so far to make recommendations and do some strategic planning before the year is over.
Things we might discuss in a Tax Planning Season meeting
Charitable Contributions
Stock Sales
IRA Contributions
College Savings
401(k) Contributions
Or whatever else is in your mind
Almost all of these things will impact your tax bill and could lead to significant savings.
As you know, BKFi is ultra-specialized in the advice we give you, so we're going deep here, and in order to do that, we need up-to-date numbers on your income, stock sales, and anything wacky you plan on doing between now and the end of the year. So send us that stuff now so our CPAs can get an accurate tax projection done and in your planning team's hands ahead of your meeting.
Here's how the process works.
A quick walkthrough of what to expect this season.
What happens after we receive your documents
BKFi prepares a detailed tax projection. Your tax manager will send you a video review.
After you've reviewed your projection, book a meeting with your planner to review the projection, cash flows, and planning opportunities, including tax-savings strategies before the year is over.
Determine contributions to retirement accounts, college savings accounts, and charities.
If you're not sure what to provide, please email us or your advisor and we'll get right back to you.
